Do the treatments hurt?

Most clients describe chemical peels as a mild tingling sensation. It is normal to have a rosy glow afterwards but nothing more, you may experience slightly drier skin on day 3-4 but by day 7 your skin will feel normal. The healing process is very minimal and also supported by a 5 day skin care kit that you take home. Microneedling feels similar to light sandpaper on the skin. SQT bio microneedling is more of a sensation , as the spicules are massaged in, it feels like mini prickles but not at all uncomfortable. I use numbing cream when needed and always work within your comfort level. Remember, I test every treatment on my own skin first!

How much downtime should I expect?

This varies by treatment:
Light peels: Minimal to no downtime
Microneedling: 24-48 hours of mild redness
LED therapy: No downtime at all
Combination treatments: Virtually none

How many treatments will I need?

This depends on your skin concerns and goals. Most clients see improvements after one treatment, but lasting results typically require 3-6 sessions. During your consultation, I'll give you a realistic timeline based on your specific needs.

Absolutely. I use medical grade products and proven techniques. Every treatment is customised to your skin's tolerance, and I have over 30 years of experience. All products and devices are FDA-approved or CE-marked.

I work with sensitive skin regularly. We'll start with gentler treatments and build up slowly. Many of my long-term clients initially thought they couldn't have advanced treatments due to sensitivity.

Unfortunately Microneedling and peels are unsuitable but many of my pregnant clients continue with their skincare with my Hydraglow & Superfood facials plus I include more head, neck & shoulder massages & facial sculpting massages to keep their skin glowing!  I also can provide a pregnancy fact sheet which gives all the ingredients to avoid during pregnancy & breast feeding and alternative ingredients to support their skin during this period of their life.

I have worked with numerous brands over the years but since 2018. I work exclusively with Alumier MD medical grade skincare. These products are clinically proven, professional strength, and deliver consistent results. You can order directly online and have them delivered to your door. Clients that use my recommendations at home, always have the best outcomes.

Do I need to buy products?

While not mandatory, using appropriate homecare products significantly enhances and maintains your treatment results. In fact 70% of your results  come from what you are using on your face at home. Certain skin conditions [such as acne or hype pigmentation] need to pretreat at home 2 weeks before coming for a treatment &  I'll recommend only what you actually need - no more wasted purchases!
