Which cleanser is best for my skin?

Cleansing our skin is often underrated but is in fact the most important step

in our daily skincare routine

Going to bed without cleaning our skin will allow bacteria , dirt & pollution to clog our pores,

create dull mottled skin & cause inflammation which will accelerate premature aging.

How do I choose the right cleanser?

This comes down to your preference; some people prefer a foaming cleanser as they feel like they have properly cleaned their skin, some prefer a lotion or cream cleanser that is removed with a tissue or damp washcloth.

As a rule: oiler skins do well with a foaming cleanser, especially if it contains salicylic acid

which is great for unclogging pores, the most important rule is to find one that is free of harsh surfectants as these strip the skin's natural barrier

Drier or more sensitive skins respond well with cream cleansers especially ones that contain niacinamides that help to support the skin.

If your skin feels dry or tight after cleansing then it is a sign that your cleanser may be too harsh for your skin. The WORST thing for cleansing are facial wipes!

They may be quick & handy but they damage the skin barrier and ultimately worsen the condition of your skin
